Not The Future We Imagined

And it certainly is not the Now we imagined.

These times of vocational and financial transition have everyone wondering now more than ever just what they’re going to be doing now and into the near future.

*Today I sat down with Coach and all-around awesome human being, Bruce Carnohan to discuss the changing job market and how it’s affecting different generations.

Bruce has an amazing coaching platform, processcleanup.com that has helped countless business leaders to change their lives both personally and professionally. Having a coaching resource like Bruce is invaluable right now. We need to enhance our ability to adapt to new technologies and apply existing skills to new arenas.

Right now, unemployment numbers have never been higher. Even those who are fortunate enough to still have their jobs are home being paid a reduced wage, if being paid at all.

Technology and digital interface are essential widgets in today’s new business model. If people are not willing to get comfortable with being uncomfortable, they’re going to be left behind. Large numbers of the baby boomer generation have been forced to adapt to new technologies in order to continue doing business in today’s locked down, pandemic-driven, new normal.

Video communication platforms like zoom, join.me, Google Hangouts, Skype, and many others are something you need to become familiar with. Thankfully, these are fairly user friendly and easy to install and use. The fear lies in the unknown, but they all offer some sort of help feature to help you set up and start using it right away. YouTube is also an amazing resource when it comes to needing a how-to on—well, anything and everything.

Having a good coach like Bruce can really help ease the anxiety that many people face while having to navigate this remote existence. It’s becoming an essential function to be able to learn how to adapt to this ever-changing, technology-dependent business model we now have to exist within. Coaching sites like processcleanup.com and happyupnow.com are just the way to gain these necessary skills. It is an investment in yourself and your future.

You get to live this life the way you want to live it. Do not let another day go by without the direction and plan to make it the best it can be. Know your worth and take the time to find a coach you align with – the best of your life is waiting.
